OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
 

1.     Contest Date:  Sept. 16-26, 2008.  Giveaway times vary

2.     NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

3.     Contest is sponsored by B101.

4.   Contest is open to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older, with a valid U.S. driver’s license or government-issued identification with the exception of immediate families of employees of WBEB-FM, their affiliates, licensees or sponsors affiliated with this contest, or other radio station.  WBEB reserves the right to disqualify winners if contest rules are not followed.   Limit one prize per person/family per 30 days. 

5.      Promotion Runs:  9/16-26, 2008.  Listen for the prompt to call in to win. 

6.      Contest Prizes:   All contest winners will win the following: 

v     Pair of tickets to an upcoming concert event plus dinner for two (valued at $50).  Concert dates/dinner certificates vary per giveaway.

7.   How to win:  Monday - Friday (5A – 9A) – listen for the contest game mechanism (could change for each giveaway).  During all other  time period, listen for B101 to tell you when to call in to win, be the 10th caller toll free at 1-888-333-B101 or 215-263-B101.  B101 will award a prize each time we play the designated prompt. 

8.   The odds of winning depend on the number of callers who respond to the prompt.  Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of winners.  Each prize is viewed as earned income and is subject to all federal, state and local taxes, as applicable.  By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use by B101 of his/her name, likeness, voice and /or other personal information for promotional and/or advertising purposes in connection with this or related promotions without compensation. 

9.   Winners shall sign an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within 15 days of prize notification and return to B101.  If winner cannot be contacted within fifteen (15) business days of first notification attempt, if Prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of noncompliance with these Contest rules and requirements, such Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries.

10.     B101 will mail prizes to winners upon receipt of the affidavit of eligibility. 

11.     Prizes are non-transferable. 

12.     WBEB-FM reserves the right to change the rules or discontinue the contest at will.

13.  Winners must present proper identification in person during normal business hours at B101, 10 Presidential Blvd., Bala Cynwyd, PA  19004 within 15 days of winning.  A birth certificate or driver’s license is considered proper identification.  The station reserves the right to extend this prize claim period to some other specified deadline in the event of unusual circumstances.

14.  B101 reserves the right to refuse prize in the event of non-compliance with the promotion’s rules, fraud, misrepresentation, or counterfeit, illegible or altered identification.  By participating, entrants and winner agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the Contest, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of Prize or participation in any Contest-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.  Sponsor is not responsible if Contest cannot take place or if Prize cannot be awarded due to delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism.

15.  Decisions of the judges will be final in all respects. B101 is not responsible for any physical limitations that would prevent the winner from accepting this prize.

16.  Promotional information, rules and winners names will be available for inspection at B101 offices   during normal business hours, or can be requested by mail from B101 by enclosing a self-addressed stamped envelope.

17.  Promotion is subject to federal, state and local registration and laws where applicable and is void where taxed, restricted or prohibited.  Employees of B101, its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents and the families of each are not eligible.

18.  B101 is not responsible for late, lost, misaddressed or misdirected mail or delayed, misdirected, uncompleted or unsuccessful phone calls or busy signals.

19.  To obtain a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: B101 Date Night Winners, B101, 10 Presidential Blvd., Bala Cynwyd, PA  19004.  All requests must be sent by August 29, 2008.
